Small Print for Exhibitors
(By applying for trade space you accept these terms)

- The site is fairly level grass, with easy vehicle access. Exhibitors' parking is adjacent to BUT NOT ON the showground. All vehicles have to be removed from the showground during public opening times.

- There is no hardstanding within the showground. Vehicular access is allowed but in exceptionally wet weather there may be restrictions on heavy vehicles and equipment, thus you must accept that in adverse weather conditions you may have to walk your exhibits to your plot, which may be in a different position to that indicated on the site plan.

- Vehicle movements to and from the exhibitors' car park during Show opening times may be severely restricted for safety reasons.

- Set-up is from 9am to 4pm Thursday 1st May and from 8.30am to 6pm Friday 2nd May; take-down is Monday evening 5th May from 5.45pm to 7pm and Tuesday morning 6th May between 9am and noon.
Show opening times for the public are 9.30am to 5.30pm Sat, Sun and Mon, 3rd/4th/5th May.

- The showground will be surrounded by a 6ft high metal fence, and a security company will patrol the grounds (but not the exhibitors' car park) between 5.30pm and 9.00am on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, BUT WE WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE AT ANY TIME.

- All plots are on grass and, except those inside the marquees, are in the open air - you must make your own arrangements for cover if required.

- You are responsible for insuring your own exhibits and providing public liability insurance on your own plot. Please check your own insurance arrangements in respect of exhibitions, to ensure that sufficient cover is in place. It is now a legal requirement that all exhibitors have public liability insurance.

- Use of the facilities is entirely at your own risk; the Council, the organiser and the sub-contractors are not liable for any injury, damage or loss howsoever caused.

- Any long-term damage caused to the grounds will be repaired at the expense of the exhibitor concerned.

- Exhibitors are responsible for collection of litter and plots must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

- If exhibitors cancel, booking fees will only be returned if their plot is re-let. A £25+ vat admin fee will be deducted.

- No generators are allowed - if you need power you must hire from the organiser.

- The showground is part of a public park. Vehicle access and the Council's wish to maintain the condition of the turf means that accommodating vehicles bigger than large transits is not possible unless previously arranged with the organiser.

- The AA signs direct traffic to the public car parks - don't follow them, you will receive directions in good time.

- You must read and comply with the setting-up instructions which will be sent to you about a month before the Show.
